Black 2 Just Transition Assemby & Training
The Just Transition Assembly and Training convened organizers from African American and other low-income communities of color, living on the frontlines of extractive industries, as well as labor and economic justice organizers working in the service, energy, and chemical sectors. The strategic focus of the Assembly examined systemic change pathways away from the most destructive industries towards models that center the health, wellbeing, and democratic self-governance of communities and workers.
