Building Stronger Collaboration and Increasing Impact for Just Transition Work
The Coalition will work with REOS Partners to develop a new collaborative method of working together within the Crossroads Coalition. This work will strengthen collaboration and build capacities for coalition partners (Crossroads Coalition) thus enabling them to lead sustained, equitable and inclusive economic and social transitions in the Buffalo/Western New York area.

Crossroads Collective
Crossroads Collective is a coalition of over ten progressive organizations committed to a just transition and building a new, community-controlled economy in Buffalo. The collective is comprised of activists, creators, grassroots educators, organizers, and researchers who realized that all of today’s major battles for justice are linked, and equally important. Crossroads is about grassroots movement throughout Buffalo joining forces and winning on critical community concerns.

African Heritage Food Cooperative
This grant supports using mobile markets to place healthy food options within walking distance of 60,000 individuals who currently do not have access. The organization also plans to provide ownership and an introduction to cooperative economics to at least 1,000 people and introduce just transition framework to all members.
