The Advancing Equity and Opportunity (AEO) Collaborative, which was formed in 2014 works towards equitable and transformational energy initiatives across the American South. Partnership for Southern Equity, on behalf of AEO, will allocate funds to planning the workshop; hiring a consultant to perform external research; co-designing and facilitating a two-day work session; and producing a strategic planning document outlining short- and long-term goals for the collaborative. In addition, funding will provide a direct resource for under-resourced groups to engage in the planning and execution of the workshop.
