Richmond Progressive Alliance (RPA)

The RPA has this explicit goal: to put political decision-making power in the hands of the people by electing corporate-free representatives. The RPA mobilizes people in support of progressive policies and candidates, often in alliance with other local groups.

Richmond Progressive Alliance
From ongoing assessment of resident concerns, RPA has learned that radical education and grassroots training for Richmond residents is needed. In 2019 the RPA will repeat its successful training for new and potential board and commission members. The organization will work to expand participation from under-represented communities and connect the participants to board and commission vacancies.
